In a very nonchalant manner, the doctor says, "Oh, yes, the scan looks clear. Everything's good there".
Thank God! They're much too relaxed about this sort of news. They should come in with a band and parade!

We didn't get a celebration in the doctor's office, but we certainly received shouts of praise and joy from our friends and family who replied via text messages, emails and voicemails immediately following my update as we walked out of the office.
Will these three-month check-ups get easier? Probably. Will our praise and thankfulness be any less exuberant? Never. Jeremy and I are thrilled to have this frequent cause for celebration. Our life is full. As we celebrated Easter yesterday, our pastor shared his favorite verse, John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal and destroy; I come that they may have life and have it to the full." Pastor Max introduced us to the definition of life in Christ. The Greek word for this life is Zoe (dzo - ay): life real and genuine, a life active and vigorous, devoted to God, blessed, in the portion even in this world of those who put their trust in Christ, and to last for ever.
We are so thankful to have this kind of life! It's wonderful to have a cause for celebration. It's even more wonderful to know nothing and no one can take away our fullness of life. What a great name for the party we had last month, Celebrate Life.
Philippians 4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!" (NIV)
"Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean revel in Him!" (The Message)
